Everyday throughout the Festival, The Forum's impressive Atrium is transformed into The Explorium - a vibrant and exciting place for visitors of all ages to get stuck into some hands-on science.

Explore the incredible research happening right here in Norwich with our partners, University of East Anglia and Norwich Research Park. Shrink down into the world of microbes in the Microbe Zoo, take a trip to the Festival Bookshop, test your own scientific skills and learn about all the wonders of STEMM!

With activities changing every day, there's always something new to discover.

Cranfield University - experience the challenge of flying an aircraft using a flight simulator. Learn how pilots and engineers manage speed, balance and control and discover how aeronautics research shapes future flight.

Royal Air Force Marham - take to the skies in an F-35B Lightning Virtual Reality Flight Simulator!

The Polar Museum, Scott Polar Research Institute - how do animals survive the harsh Arctic winters? Identify footprints, compare your hand to a polar paw and learn about these amazing animal adaptations.

UEA Zone - explore the incredible science taking place at the University of East Anglia, with interactive, hands-on activities led by academics, researchers and leading experts.

The Wired Nest – join artists from The Nest Project CIC to help build a growing nest! Use recycled wires and natural materials to create this interactive artwork inspired by nature and sustainability.
