Learn how to communicate scientific research through games

Join Sci Comms East and Norwich Science Festival for a science communication training workshop, led by Jake Montanarini, to discover how to transform your research into an engaging, interactive experience through game design.

This hands-on workshop is tailored for researchers who want to explore new ways of communicating complex ideas, reaching broader audiences, and enhancing public engagement. No prior game development experience is required - just curiosity and a willingness to experiment. By the end of the session, you'll leave with a concept outline for your own research-based tabletop game including a toolkit to take it further.
