Wow, we can't believe it - Norwich Science Festival is your Festival of the Year at the Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards 2026! 🏆
The whole team are absolutely delighted to be named Festival of the Year by public vote (sponsored by Norwich Print Solutions) at last week's Suffolk and Norfolk Tourism Awards evening. Coordinated by Visit East of England, the awards recognise the remarkable people and organisations behind the region's tourism success.
The Festival was incredibly proud to have been shortlisted alongside a set of fantastic finalists, including Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival, First Light Festival, Norwich Wine Week, Out There Festival and Wild Paths Festival and more. Our congratulations go to all of the organisations shortlisted in 2026!
We had a fantastic evening at the awards ceremony at the wonderful Diss Corn Hall - hosted by ITV's Chris Page and featuring lovely canapes, drinks and a chance to network with other finalists.
We wanted to say such a big and heartfelt thank you to everyone who voted for us, to everyone who visits us, and to everyone who has supported the Festival since the very first back in 2016.
Norwich Science Festival 2026 saw more than 86,400 total visits (we're still crunching numbers!) to nearly 300 events across Norwich over eight days at the end of February, platforming our region's world leading science and creating significant economic impact for the city, county and region. Presented by The Forum, Norwich Science Festival is very much a team effort - with fantastic support from our Principal Partner, the University of East Anglia, and support from venues, organisations and business across Norwich and Norfolk.
We can't wait to bring you more science fun and adventure in February 2027 - watch this space!
