Professor Anne Coxon, Deputy Director of the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science, explores how forensic science has developed alongside these fictional stories, and how technology is helping to solve the crimes of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Anne will lead you through the journey of forensic science, whilst sharing some of her more challenging, rewarding, and entertaining experiences of working in the field.

Anne Coxon is Professor of Practice in Forensic Science and the Deputy Director of the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science (LRCFS) at the University of Dundee.
Before joining LRCFS, Anne spent eight years in Adelaide - where she was the Assistant Director Operations, responsible for the delivery of forensic science and pathology services to the State of South Australia.
In her current role at LRCFS, Anne draws on her extensive forensic science experience to ensure research outcomes align with operational requirements and to establish sustainability of the Centre into the future.
