Immerse your audience with gamification

Discover the secret to developing highly interactive and immersive experiences using gamification, in this workshop from Sci Comms East and Norwich Science Festival!

Rebecca Shaw, PhD Student at the Earlham Institute, and Oli Buckley, Professor of Cyber Security at the University of East Anglia, will share their experiences - covering everything from funding, development timelines, collaborating with partners, through to delivery.

Whether you're interested in creating anything from board games to escape rooms, expect plenty of top tips for engaging the public with your work, and time to develop your own creative ideas and demo some example activities!

About Sci Comms East

Sci Comms East is a skills-sharing network coordinated by Sam Rowe and Cansu Bayindirli, in collaboration with Norwich Science Festival. In addition to an annual conference, Sci Comms East aims to support communicators throughout the year by facilitating training and knowledge exchange opportunities - helping researchers and practitioners improve their skills to maximise the impact of their work.

Sci Comms East is looking to significantly expand its platform. We hope to showcase local communicators and raise awareness of funding and volunteering opportunities though collaborative events and other activities.
