Building a sustainable future

Join Anthony Hudson of Hudson Architects and Jeremy Walker of Human Nature, in conversation with Rachel Edmunds, architectural designer and cartographer at Matter of Place Architects CIC, as they reimagine the future of architecture, community, and climate.

From radically regenerative neighbourhoods to co-living complexes, this inspiring session explores how sustainable design and construction can spark new ways of living.

This event will be chaired by Sarah de Villiers, Architecture and Interior Design Lecturer at Norwich University of the Arts.

About Rachel Edmunds

Rachel is a cartographer and architectural designer at Matter of Place architects. She has worked for historic estates across England supporting their transformation into cultural, educational and arts locations. Both within architecture and cartography her primary interest is people, seeking to centre human value within context, in order to prepare places that can be relied upon for lasting environmental and heritage improvement. 

About Jeremy Walker

Jeremy has over 30 years experience in designing and delivering high quality projects ranging from cultural, education, housing and commercial projects.  From the very beginning of his career, Jeremy has championed sustainable design as a means to safeguard both the natural and built environment while enriching the quality of everyday life. Jeremy has worked for both renowned architectural practices Hawkins/Brown and Hudson Architects and has also run his own award-winning architectural practice. He currently heads up Human Nature's in-house design team.
