Want to be part of an award-winning Festival?
Norwich Science Festival will officially return to the city from 13–20 February 2027, and our open call for events and speakers is now live!
We’re on the lookout for creative and inspiring ideas to be part of next year’s programme. It could be a talk, workshop, panel discussion, live performance, show, exhibition or some other creative format – if you have an idea for an event, we want to hear it!
Presented by The Forum with Principal Partner University of East Anglia, Norwich Science Festival has grown into the UK’s third largest science Festival. In 2026, we celebrated our ten year anniversary, and a whole decade of spotlighting science and innovation in our wonderful city.
Since the very first Festival in 2016, we’ve showcased the world-leading research and innovation our region has to offer, bringing together scientists, artists, creative practitioners and industry professionals to engage and inspire thousands of people from all backgrounds.
We’ve welcomed some incredible names to our stages, including Jane Goodall, Hamza Yassin, Chris Packham and Steve Backshall - and in 2027, it could be you on our Festival line-up!
Norwich Science Festival offers a unique platform for voices to share their creativity and passion for all things science!
In 2026, we welcomed over 90,000 visits to the Festival, hosted 97 speakers and performers and joined forces with 58 partner organisations to deliver an extraordinary event for Norwich, Norfolk and the region.

Danie Hadley, Marketing Manager for Norwich Science Festival:
"We’re on the lookout for bold and brilliant ideas for next year’s Festival! It's a fantastic opportunity to bring your idea to an engaged and fun-loving audience, and to benefit from being part of the wider Norwich Science Festival community.
In previous years, applications have included a poetry performance about misophonia, a family puppet show about animal conservation, a science-themed afternoon tea, a panel event about women’s health, and a talk about the history of life on Earth - so there’s definitely a broad range of events!
We’d love for people to come to us with their new and exciting ideas for the 2027 Festival.”
