Breaking down the traditional barrier between science and the arts, this collection of ‘books’ is the result of a series of workshops created by the Science, Art And Writing Trust (SAW Trust) and Norfolk Library Service which took place in libraries this year. Participants worked with students from UEA’s Psychology Department to explore their personality characteristics using question-based activities, then with a professional artist and writer to produce their own book jacket. Each “book” represents how the ‘author’ sees themselves and collectively they represent the diversity of people living within local communities in Norfolk.
