We’re in an exciting era of biology. Science is no longer restricted to academic labs or big industry, but is being spun out all over the world in exciting startups working on everything from colour changing flowers to nutrient-rich algae. Much of this is made possible by some incredible breakthroughs in DNA sequencing and synthetic biology over the last ten years or so.

Come along to this talk by Peter Bickerton from the Earlham Institute to explore biohacking, play with DNA and design your very own future food.
