From Britain's first astronaut through to virtual reality and spectacular science!

Norwich Science Festival (NSF) returned for its second year from Saturday 21 to Sunday 29 October 2017. We had nine days of inspirational talks, sensational shows and an abundance of hands-on science activities for all ages and all levels of knowledge.

The Festival featured themed days on astronomy, physics, engineering and technology, chemistry, biology, nature and the environment, solving problems with science, and food and agriculture. We also ran a dedicated learning week for schools, colleges, youth group and home-educated learners.

Headline events included Helen Sharman – Britain’s First Astronaut, and shows from TV/radio scientists and celebrities Ben Garrod, Mark Thompson, Adam Rutherford, Lizzie Daly, Nicholas Crane, Alice Roberts, Robin Ince, and Johnny Ball.

Thanks to all partners, venues, contributors, funders, sponsors, staff and volunteers for making #NorwichSciFest 2017 happen!
