About Dr Henry Gee

Henry is a paleontologist, senior editor at Nature and the author of several books, including The Decline and Fall of the Human Empire, and A (Very) Short History of Life on Earth, which won the 2022 Royal Society Science Book Prize. He has talked about the history of life in venues across the world and is a frequent pundit on radio, TV and podcasts notably The Ancients from History Hit.
