About Dr Nikhil Mistry

Formerly an academic, secondary science teacher and Head of Curiosity at Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium, Nikhil is now an Enterprise Fellow at the University of Southampton, working in public engagement and science communication.

Nikhil has been in science communication and public engagement since 2010, including the running of a comedy club to help researchers communicate their work to the public (Bright Club Southampton). He has created and featured on a number of podcasts, including ‘Why Aren’t You A Doctor Yet?’ and ‘Gin & Topics’, as well as speaking on BBC Radio and BBC Inside Science.
