Love dissected (literally!)

Join Festival patron and biologist Professor Ben Garrod and consultant cardiologist Dr Rohin Francis for a Valentine’s event like no other - a live dissection of not one, but several animal hearts in front of an audience!

Together, they will reveal the fascinating and complex structure of this fundamental pump that keeps us – and every vertebrate – alive. From the fascinating differences across species, to the ways in which you can best care for your own heart, Ben and Rohin will uncover the long-held secrets of this vital, life-sustaining organ.

Please note that this event may not be suitable for those of a squeamish disposition!
