Prof Stephen Ashworth is an award winning science communicator with an international reputation. He has delivered science shows and workshops from Dublin to Dunedin, and from Hethersett to Hong Kong. Prof Ashworth studied chemistry at the University of Oxford. After earning his PhD he worked with lasers to study molecules at high resolution, both in frequency and time. His interest turned to communication of science in the last millenium when he had the opportunity to attend a training course on communicating research to the public; since then he has not looked back!
