"It's hugely exciting to find out that Norwich Science Festival is a finalist in this year's Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards! The team work incredibly hard to deliver such a large-scale Festival - with more than 75,000 visitors and 200+ free and low-cost events across the city - and it means a lot to us to be recognised in this way.
We'd love for our wonderful visitors to show their support for the Festival and vote!"
- Danie Hadley, Marketing & Comms Manager, Norwich Science Festival.
Norwich Science Festival is a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and discovery. Each year, we offer visitors of all ages the chance to explore the wonders of science and technology, meet the innovators whose research has changed the world and discover how science influences everything around us.
Since our first Festival back in 2016, and with the support of our partners the University of East Anglia and Norwich Research Park, we bring together the brilliant and the curious for 10-days of inspiring talks, unmissable shows, interactive experiences and hands-on fun. We’ve welcomed incredible speakers to our stages over the years, including Jane Goodall, Chris Packham, Hamza Yassin, and Steve Backshall.
We believe that science is for everyone, and we’re dedicated to keeping Norwich Science Festival accessible, inclusive and low-cost for our amazing audiences. In 2025, 43% of the Festival events were entirely free and 32% of events were priced at £6 and under.
We’re proud to have grown into one of the region’s standout events, all thanks to your enthusiasm and support over the past 10 incredible years!
The public vote for Event/Festival of the Year is open until midnight on Sunday 5 October.
