Booking FAQs

• How can I book NSF tickets?

  For Norwich Science Festival, tickets can be booked online – check individual event listings for details. Please note that some bookings are made via our booking system Ticketsolve, and other events will be through our partners' booking systems.
  
  Please show your ticket (printed or mobile) on entry to the event.

  All tickets are sent out electronically via email. If you haven't received a confirmation email, please check your junk or spam folder. If you still can't find it, please email [email protected] or the venue through which you bought the ticket.

• Can I buy tickets on the door?

  To guarantee your place, we recommend booking early for events. However, where there are still tickets available, you can buy them on the door for events at The Forum, Norwich School, East Norfolk Sixth Form College and Gresham's.

• Are concession tickets available for NSF events?

  We have kept ticket prices as low as possible for all tickets sold by Norwich Science Festival, and so do not offer concessions prices.

  For tickets sold by other venues, e.g. Norwich Theatre Playhouse, please see their website for terms and conditions and who is valid. These tickets may be available for children under the age of 16, adults aged 60 or over, students in full-time education, Go4Less card holders, those on Income Support, registered disabled. Please bring proof of eligibility to the event.

• Can I bring a group to an event?

  The maximum number of tickets that can be booked per event per customer is 10. If you would like to bring a larger group, please email [email protected] with information about your party, size, number of tickets required and any access requirements, and we will see what we can do.

• Can I get a refund for a NSF event?

  Refunds are not offered unless an event is cancelled or postponed.

  Occasionally, events may be cancelled at short notice due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control. In the event of cancellation of pre-book events, every endeavour will be made to contact ticket holders and refunds will be offered. We regret that we may not be able to offer an alternative for cancelled events. Please check this website for up-to-date event information. 

  Admission to the event is at the discretion of the event organiser.

  Events will run in line with local and national government guidelines at the time of the festival.

• Can I get an Essential Companion ticket for NSF events?

  If you have access requirements and need someone to accompany you to make your visit to a Norwich Science Festival event easier and more comfortable, an additional Essential Companion ticket can be booked for our events.

  Check each individual event listing for information on how to book a free Essential Companion ticket. For events where tickets are purchased direct with the venue, e.g. Norwich Theatre Playhouse, please check their terms and conditions on how to book Essential Companion tickets.

  If you have specific access requirements, please contact us before the event you have booked for at [email protected] with your name, title of event, number of people in your party, and any access information you feel would be helpful to our team in ensuring your visit is as comfortable as possible.

• Can I go on a waiting list for a sold out event?

  Unfortunately, we cannot offer a waiting list service as we do not have a box office able to deal with this. We will however post on social media when more tickets become available.

• Is this NSF event suitable for my child?

  We include an approximate age recommendation as a guide to help you choose your events. Everyone is welcome to all of the listed events (unless specified as adults only), but some will be more suited to the ages suggested, due to content or language.

  Children under 12 must be accompanied in talks, shows and workshops by a responsible adult. For talks and shows, accompanying adults will require a ticket.

• What should I do if I have accessibility requirements?

  Once you've booked your ticket(s), please contact us at [email protected] detailing your name, number in party, number in party with specific requirements (e.g. wheelchair place required), and what type of ticket(s) you have booked (if more than one price point). We'll then liaise with the venue to ensure that there are places reserved for your party. On arrival at the event, please identify your party to our event staff, and you'll be shown to the reserved places.

• Can I book tickets with The Forum office?

  Tickets are not available in person, by telephone, post or email with The Forum office.
