Soapbox Science

The Teacher Scientist Network (TSN) brings some remarkable female scientists onto the streets of Norwich. Come and listen to them, and discover what these scientists get up to when they are not stood on a Soapbox. No PowerPoint, no lecture theatre, just a wooden box and some science storytelling.

Not deterred by the weather in 2018, twelve female scientists from across the Norwich Research Park stood on Hay Hill and told their science stories marking the first ever Soapbox Science event in Norwich. Testing out a new location directly in front of The Forum in Norwich but using the same successful format here’s your chance to listen, question and hear first-hand from a diverse range of scientists. Soapbox Science is a national public engagement event providing platforms for women scientists around the UK.
