At East Norfolk College Sixth Form

Norwich Science Festival-on-sea, anyone?

We're bringing the very best of the Festival to Gorleston in partnership with East Norfolk Sixth Form College for one day only!

Younger ones have the chance to watch the Spectacular Science Show by Mark Thompson, see the stars inside a planetarium, and learn more about their fingerprints in a fun interactive workshop.

There’s plenty for bigger kids too, including a chance to Meet the Scientists in a Q&A session, hear from engineer, author and TV presenter, Dr Shini Somara about the engineers that have inspired her, and meet the team who discovered the wonderful Gloucester Warship.

Our Mini Explorium is open all day, with stands from the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Gorleston Apiary, the RSPB, Time and Tide Museum, the John Innes Centre, RAF Marham and more - with fun free activities for everybody to enjoy!

Free tickets can be booked in advance for lots of the events, or people are welcome to drop in on the day!

When booking in advance, please check the duration of each event to avoid overlap. We recommend booking 1-2 sessions per person, and enjoying the free drop-in activities across the rest of the day.

Free parking is available. There will be a range of hot food and snacks available, or bring your own packed lunch.
