Help make NSF a success and volunteer at the festival!

Norwich Science Festival is back to celebrate science Saturday 11–Saturday 18 February 2023 at venues in Norwich and beyond, and is looking for volunteers to help make this the most successful one yet.

Over the years, volunteers of all ages and abilities have played a crucial part in making this much-loved festival happen. Once again, your help is needed, especially as this year sees two mini pop-up festivals happening in both Holt and Gorleston-on-Sea, as well as the core Festival events at The Forum and around Norwich.

An interest or involvement in science or previous volunteering experience is desirable but not essential, so if you’ve got some time to spare, are sociable and enthusiastic, then the Festival Team would love to hear from you.

Mia Morgan, Science Festival Assistant, said:

“This is a great opportunity to see first-hand what goes into managing a large-scale event like this. Our volunteers are a vital part of the team, allowing us to share local science research with the wider Norwich community.”

Presented by The Forum, Norwich Science Festival presents intriguing discoveries, inspiring talks, engaging exhibitions, deep dives and debates, and cutting-edge research. Plus, every day there’s free hands-on fun and activities for all in ‘The Explorium’ at The Forum, with themed days from bugs, birds and beasts through to health and wellbeing.
