Cookie and the Most Annoying Boy in the World

With Konnie Huq

Meet Cookie Haque – nine years old, obsessed with science and ready to take on the world. Or at least she thinks she is… Cookie has never quite felt as if she fits in – a quirky girl with a touch of the geek, from a Bangladeshi family – and with an uncanny ability to get herself into almost constant scrapes and some madcap science projects.

Cookie and the most annoying boy in the world

In this event, author and children’s TV presenter Konnie Huq (Blue Peter, Milkshake) tells why she’s a huge advocate for getting girls into science and why as a child she was just as obsessive as her character Cookie.

Konnie will be in conversation with Mandy Hartley from The Little Storytelling Company.

Plus Q&A and booksigning.
