You’ll explore the unique habitat that makes Cley a haven for birds and birdwatchers alike, as you take a 4km guided walk around the perimeter of the reserve. Discover the different species that grace our shores in the winter and learn more about the incredible migration journey they undertake.

Whether you’re a passionate birdwatcher or simply looking to connect with nature, this is a fantastic opportunity to explore the ecology of this remarkable area with a knowledgeable local expert.

About Carl Chapman

Carl Chapman is a qualified ornithologist with a diploma in photography, serving as the county cetacean and pinniped recorder. He is heavily involved with several environmental charities, including chairing the Norfolk and Norwich Naturalists' Society through to its 150th year. Carl is also a trained ecologist specialising in several protected species.

He has been watching wildlife for more years than he cares to remember.
