Join Steve Gaskin, former murder squad DCI at New Scotland Yard and adviser to BBC Silent Witness for a fascinating talk exploring why ‘ordinary’ people become serial killers. Drawing on high profile murder cases from the UK, Steve will delve into the psychology that leads to murder and ask you to categorize these killers.

Steve Gaskin

Steve was a senior investigator in the Metropolitan Police Service and achieved the rank of Detective Chief Inspector. He has investigated serial killings and linked crime scenes. Steve is a graduate of the Institute of Police & Criminological Studies. He is also the advisor for BBC Silent Witness. Steve runs The Crime Lab and teaches leadership and management across the UK.
