The Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich, NR2 1TF
Norwich Science Festival is gearing up for something big - our 10th anniversary in 2026 - and this is your chance to shape what's coming next!
Don't miss this exciting opportunity to join Sci Comms East for this unique event, in which you will gather alongside other creatives, researchers, scientists, practitioners and communicators working across Norwich and Norfolk.
Designed to spark potential science, arts and humanities projects that could be launched at Norwich Science Festival 2026 and beyond, you'll network and connect with others in an engaging discussion session, as well as hear from five project champions who will share some initial concepts that came out of the last Sci Comms East event in February.
There are also opportunities to showcase your existing sci-arts projects in a tabletop display.
This session is a fantastic opportunity to develop your own sci-comms skills, and meet like-minded people to collaborate on sci-arts projects in Norwich and Norfolk.
The event will begin in The Forum's Auditorium, before moving up to Cafe Bar Marzano for light refreshments and further networking and discussion. Drinks will also be available to purchase from the bar.
For ages 18+ only
Free, but registration essential
Registration closes Friday 27 June.
As part of this event, we'll be showcasing five proposed sci-arts projects that stemmed from the Sci Comms East event in February. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and expertise to further these projects for 2026, and even sign up to volunteer as part of a working group to develop the idea.
The event is also a fantastic place to bring your own ideas and find potential collaborators, and if you wish, you could present your work in a display at the event.
