Discover new worlds!

Climb inside the amazing space that is the Explorer Dome - a mobile planetarium that allows you to escape to new worlds! Featuring a variety of entertaining and interactive shows, including The Wonder of Space and Disgusting Digestion, for a range of ages and SEND audiences.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. All attendees need a ticket to this event.

Access Information

We offer free Essential Companion tickets for those with access requirements and need someone to accompany them to make their visit easier and more comfortable. These can be booked online at the same time as booking a ticket to this event.

Please note that attendees will need to remove their shoes and crawl through a tunnel to enter the Explorer Dome, though an alternative entrance can be made available. Shows may include lights and loud noises.

Light Fantastic

A fabulous, fun, high energy romp through light and colour! Discover what light is, where it comes from, how it travels and how we see.

Disgusting Digestion

A fun-filled, disgusting journey through the body - find out what happens to the food we eat, from plate to poo!

SEND performances

A dedicated relaxed version of the themed show, adapted for mixed-age SEND audiences. Wheelchairs can be accommodated. Please email [email protected] if you would like to discuss access requirements.
