1.30pm - 3pm: Online

Has your class got what it takes to be the best in our STEMM Showdown?

Join our host, Mark Thompson (BBC Stargazing Live, Spectacular Science Show) as we put your classroom's STEMM knowledge to the test! You will be (virtually) pitted against secondary schools across the country for the chance to win the title!

Cost: Free, registration required

Brought to you by Youth STEMM, the skills award for young people aged 13-19, designed to inspire and support the next generation into Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine. Take part in STEMM-based activities outside normal lessons, log the hours and complete the strands to build a personalised e-portfolio, great for applications and interviews. Register independently or through your school and complete enough hours to achieve a bronze, silver or gold medal and certificate. All Science Festival events count towards an Award.
