Explore forces, friction, materials and their properties, sound and light, in the spectacular surroundings of Norwich Cathedral. Take part in experiments as you encounter the space, arches, pillars, music, windows and materials. A hands-on day with a difference that merges RE and science as you learn about how the amazing building was designed and is still used for worship.
The Schools and Family Learning Department at Norwich Cathedral seeks to deliver a professional service to all schools/academies, parishes, community groups and families. They aim to make your Cathedral visit educational, inspirational, memorable and fun, and have a background in both primary and secondary education plus extensive experience of managing and delivering ‘sacred space’ education in the UK.
