Norwich Science Festival Special

Pint of Science is returning to Norwich, featuring more exciting talks, quizzes and demonstrations designed to make you think! Our Norwich Science Festival special will be all about evolution, making you wonder ‘what’s next?’

This event will feature esteemed TV scientist Professor Ben Garrod, alongside cutting-edge research from local scientists. Doors 7pm.

Professor Ben Garrod is an esteemed TV scientist and senior academic in Evolutionary Biology at the University of East Anglia. His scientific career began with his doctoral thesis on ‘Primates of the Caribbean’ and since, his work has taken him all over the world. In addition to presenting many successful TV shows, he has also written a successful series of children’s books entitled ‘So You Think You Know About Dinosaurs?’.

Sophie Prosolek is a science communicator currently studying for her PhD at the Quadram Institute in Norwich. Sophie has coordinated Pint of Science and NSF events locally for the past three years and enjoys combining her scientific knowledge with her passion for creative industry.
