A lively exploration of microbiology and art with a local artist-educator and UEA scientist.
You will be set the group research question ‘are microbes helpful or harmful?’ and explore through experiments with bread and yeast, observations of conservation in the gallery and making in the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts studio.
The Sainsbury Centre is one of the most prominent university art galleries in Britain, and a major national centre for the study and presentation of art.
Learning at the Sainsbury Centre is about building relationships between art, people and ideas. We work with artists to deliver activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity and critical thinking.
