A Respectful Conversation on the Planet

The global youth movement to tackle climate change is growing with thousands of young people taking action by joining strikes across the globe. But is direct action the most effective approach? Should young people be missing school to join protests? And what influence can Millennials and Generation Z have on politicians and world leaders to effect change? Join a panel of speakers representing the local community and especially its younger members to take part in an open discussion on the subject of the planet and, in particular, climate change protest movements and young people’s activism within them. This is not a debate with winners and losers but a chance for everyone to join in and share ideas in a safe and respectful environment.
