Norwich Science Festival 2018

A celebration of science

Exciting exhibitions, sensational shows and inspiring hands-on science. For all ages and all levels of knowledge.

Norwich Science Festival is a celebration of science and technology, and showcases the ground-breaking research and innovation associated with the city. It offers all ages the chance to explore the wonders of the universe, meet the scientists whose research has changed the world and discover how science influences everything around us.

The eclectic programme of more than 180 events includes inspirational talks, sensational shows and exhibitions and an abundance of hands-on science activities. It brings together researchers, artists, creative practitioners and professionals working in STEM fields to inspire thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds each year.

The Festival started in 2016 after The Forum joined forces with Stuart Hobday (Diss Corn Hall, Norwich Arts Centre, Millennium Dome) to create this celebration of the groundbreaking scientific research from Norwich. It is now a partnership initiative involving many organisations from across the region, coordinated by The Forum, Norwich. Thanks to our many sponsorspartnersfunders and patrons.

The Forum Trust is a self-financing, independent charity. The Trust manages The Forum building in the centre of Norwich, and works with partners to deliver and support a wide programme of events, celebrating education and learning, local heritage and culture, both at The Forum and across Norfolk.

Parking at The Forum helps to support our programme of mainly free year-round programme of events and look after The Forum building.
